ROOST-Energy is a research and production company specializing in the development and manufacture of lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries and batteries based on them.
The Company’s history began with the development of Li-Ion batteries with exclusive characteristics for use in special-purpose equipment: communication equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles and robotics. Currently, our area of expertise also includes the development of batteries for electric vehicles, telecommunications equipment and various types of energy storage devices.
The main division of ROOST-Energy LLC located on the territory of MOSGORMASH innovative technopark in Moscow focuses on high-tech areas:
- Electrochemical Laboratory for the development of battery cell fabrication technologies
- Mass production of battery cells
- Electrical Engineering Department developing circuitry and battery software
- Serial production performing surface and through-hole mounting of printed circuit boards
- Design Bureau engaged in the development of batteries and adjuncts for their production
- Mechanical Division intended for manufacturing test models and prototype parts
- Assembly Area for test models and prototype products
- Archive of design and architect-engineering documentation
Labor-intensive production operations are carried out in a separate division located in the city of Orenburg, on the Company’s own production facility equipped with all the necessary sections and equipment for the full cycle of manufacturing, assembly and serial production of finished products according to the parameters set by customers:
- Mechanical Section that manufactures parts of various configurations: from current-carrying buses to battery components
- Welding Area intended for the manufacture of large battery frames and housings
- Painting Area intended for painting products with protective coatings
- Engraving Area performing marking of articles and components by laser engraving
- Cable Production Site where connecting harnesses of various configurations are manufactured
- Assembly production of mass-produced products
- Test Area that conducts battery cell testing and acceptance testing of finished products
- Packaging Area
- Finished Product Warehouse
